algroh is seriously delusional. I'm sure he thought that reading the poem that his mentor, Obi Wan Parcells, read on his last day as a coach somewhere, was apropos of a poet warrior like himself. He is the epitome of the arrogant hoo boy, who has no clue that he is arrogant, obtuse, condescending and looks like a jackass to mere mortals who didn't attend Sally's boyfriend's school. I told my wife that I almost felt sorry for him, but she reminded me that he's departing with about 4.3 extra large to assuage his forced early retirement.

I think it is safe to say that recruiting is going to get more difficult for Frank & Co. The new Hoo coach can't possibly be as off-putting as algroh.

As for the Hoo woman- you were either sitting near me or they all are like that.

Am I fretting over nothing, but won't those HS coaches not really VT-friendly now find a sudden resurgence of affinity to recommend very promising recruits toward UVA, assuming a high end coach is brought to Mr. Jefferson's hallowed grounds? I am quite concerned about a sudden rush of euphoria and excitement that will become infectious, if only temporarily.

On a side note, I suppose one must have a real Hoo constitution to like Hoo U. Personally, it held no appeal to me and I caught myself during the game asking to myself, "what do top flight football players really see in this place? A smallish stadium. A jumbotron announcing the sale of turkey chili at the Pergola Palace. Fans who sing some damned rendition of Auld Lang Syne that mentions everything being gay in Virginia and dear old UVA and those same fans find us boorish and "vicious" (those were a Hoo woman's actual words) when we chant "Lets Go ......... Hokies". WTH is up with those fans anyway?!?!?! I mean, that's fine for a tennis match on the grounds, or perhaps a polo contest. But, this is FOOTBALL for crying out loud.
