Tom - My god what a showcase game for the ACC! The Leningrad Cowboys should be doing those ACC commercials. Heels WRONG!
Kevin - UNC employees are sent home early without pay to clear out the parking lots for the first ever Thursday night tailgating in Chapel Hill. They'll be pleased to know they are doing all this to allow 2 winless-in-the-ACC teams go at it on the field. Adding insult to injury, the other winless-in-the-ACC team across the sidelines won't even be the Pack. 'Why bother?', indeed. Noles finally come out ahead as they make a play at Tampa given no one else in the Atlantic wants it.

Kevin - algroh's new Russian-made special-order 2009 Virginia Tech calendars arrive just in time in the mail. As prearranged, each month has an aerial shot of the picturesque Tech Golf Course just above the word "October". Hokie fans in the vicinity do their part in the off week by gobbling up tickets and cheering against GIT. It works. Mr. October needs an extension before he turns into a pumpkin in a mere 7 days.
